Our Story

2020 - THE "SIDE HUSTLE"

In March 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic, everyone, including myself, was kicked out of our normal workout routine and forced to find creative ways to maintain our health at home.

With just one treadmill, $500, and my parents' garage, I started selling pre-owned home gym fitness equipment. I was having fun simply filling a need, never with the intention of making this a business because "who’d want to sell used equipment for the rest of their lives", it definitely didn’t feel cool and sexy like technology or other innovative industries. But I couldn’t deny the fact that in-person sales were booming all over the region and I was shipping equipment across the country. I quickly became the #1 private seller of home fitness equipment in St. Louis.

2021 - HOW IT BEGUN

Then one day in 2021 I received a cease & desist letter from my parent’s HOA. Not one to be held back by the status quo, that is the type of challenge that propels me forward. Despite my hesitancy and resistance to making this into a "business," I redirected my energy into officializing my start-up business and giving it the name, Reimagine Resources.

2022 - LEARNING & ITERATING

Finally, in 2022 we found a place of our own and began our first "official" year as a business to market. Having little prior experience in the fitness industry we began with our customers first, researched the industry, interviewed business leaders in the space, and watched the market.

2023 - FINDING OUR IDENTITY

In 2023, we shifted our focus beyond pre-owned home exercise equipment to specializing in commercial pre-owned and new commercial gym equipment. In addition to these changes, we provided end-to-end fitness service solutions for high-end residential gyms and commercial gyms. We established ourselves in the local market and increased brand awareness. I continued to research the industry, the customers, and the manufacturing process and growth opportunities, traveling throughout the Midwest and East Coast to interview gym owners, manufacturers, and leaders in the fitness equipment industry as part of my full-time job.

2024 - RESTRUCTURING & GROWTH

2024, brought new and exciting changes. We discontinued our home and commercial pre-owned equipment to focus on commercial end-to-end service. Grew our portfolio of product offerings in gym equipment and facility resources and increased our service provider partnerships with some of the top brands in the industry. Increased our installation and service area nationally and added new Squad members to our company. Our focus is safer, better, and faster.

I realized that I enjoyed being a disruptor in a very traditional industry combining great people with operational excellence accelerated by tech-enabled solutions. The need was not for a typical tech company or another field worker but market research and client demand demonstrated a practical need for a physical solution supported by technical innovation, and I am solving it. We are infusing operational excellence and innovative technology to accelerate, streamline, scale, and become the leader in the industry. Believing it starts with the individual, my aim as the founder is to create a superior alternative while maintaining an impact in the lives of people globally.

Our focus has never been on the product but the values we embody and the people we impact. Today we have grown from a pre-owned home fitness equipment reseller to becoming a full-service gym solution commercial gyms can trust to create, install, maintain, and support their fitness spaces, reimagining their fitness resources.
