1. What does a Fitness Equipment Technician & Installer do?
A Fitness Equipment Technician & Installer at Reimagine Resources is responsible for installing, repairing, maintaining, and relocating commercial fitness equipment. This includes diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventative maintenance, assembling gym machines, and ensuring all equipment is safe and fully operational.

Full-Time Technicians: At least 4+ years of experience in fitness equipment repair, mechanical work, electrical troubleshooting, or a related trade.

Part-Time Technicians: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Interns: If you have no prior experience, we encourage applying for our internship program to gain hands-on training and build necessary skills before applying for a technician role.
3. What qualifications or skills are needed?

4. What are the work hours and scheduling requirements?

Full-time roles: 30-40+ hours per week, primarily Monday–Friday during business hours, with occasional weekend work or travel.

Part-time roles: Minimum 12 hours per week, with flexible scheduling.

Some projects require out-of-town travel (1-2 trips per month) for larger installations.
5. What locations are hiring for this position?
We currently have openings in St. Louis, MO (Full-Time & Part-Time) and Kansas City, MO (Part-Time).
6. Do I need my own vehicle for work?
Yes. You will use your own vehicle to travel to job sites, but we provide mileage reimbursement for work-related travel. A truck, SUV, or van is preferred for transporting tools and equipment.
7. What is the pay structure?

Everyone starts at $18 per hour for the first 3 months (200 hours) to evaluate skills, reliability, and compatibility with the team.

After the probationary period, we determine pay based on skill level and value to the company.
